“We just used GA custom moves for our move from FL to TX. From start to finish, Chris and his team made this the most seamless move I have ever done! Communication and professionalism are top notch and not a single item was broken or damaged in the move.”

Moving Tips

A few things that make moving day go smoother, for you and for our crew.

  1. Large items

    Make a list

Make a list of your large items, it may be easier for us to give you an estimate if we know exactly what your move consists of.

  2. Boxes, tape, wrap

    Have plenty of supplies

If you are using our services to help you pack, then move on to the next tip! If you are packing yourself, make sure to have plenty of boxes, tape and wrapping paper for fragile items.

  3. Fragile

    Label your boxes

Be sure to label your boxes once you've finished packing them. It helps us know which room those boxes should be put in and helps you find items more easily when you need them. Be sure to label boxes "fragile" if there are glass items present.

  4. Book ahead

    Schedule your move

Make sure to schedule your move in advance. Moving companies are extremely busy in the Summer months. It would be wise to schedule your move 4-6 weeks in advance, even earlier if you have a very large move planned.

  5. Do not pack

    Keep us safe

Moving companies are prohibited by law to transport gasoline, bottled gases and other flammables, ammunition, and explosives. Please make sure not to pack any of these items with other household goods. Please transport these items personally.

“The movers were fantastic! They were courteous and handled all of my belongings with care. Since my boxes were labeled, they made sure everything went to the right areas, which I really appreciated. They also disassembled and reassembled my bed, which made the move much easier. Overall, it was a great experience! I'd definitely use this company again and recommend them.”
